Lake Benanee

New South Wales – 13km

 

Lake Benanee is a large freshwater lake 13 kilometres east of Euston on the road to Balranald. It covers, when full, an area of around 750 hectares.

Lake Benanee has a beach area and public toilets and is easily seen and accessed from the Sturt Highway.

Lake Benanee Rest Area provides a large gravel parking area with a couple of shelters, toilets and bins. A very pleasant spot beside the lake featuring a range of wildlife.
